| Nitrate removal equipment | 05 Oct 2004 14:40 GMT | 6 |
I have a Nitrate removal tool that has been sat in the attic for about 7 years. It is called a Nitra-king and is made by a company called Kingfisher. It is simply an in-line filter that presumably contains some exchange resin that can be recharged with brine.

| eheim aquaball?? | 05 Oct 2004 04:13 GMT | 5 |

Just a reminder to check your tank temperature every day. I was just doing a little cleaning on my ten gallon Betta tank and noticed that the water was really cold. I checked the thermomenter, and sure enough, tank temperature was just under 70 degrees.

I mentioned the other day I had a big black neon tetra that had an abrasion on its side, which now appears white and fluffy. Someone said it sounds like a fungus. Not having a quarantine tank, what are my options for a 55 gal tank, sparsely populated as yet? Is this fish a goner ...
