tiny snails02 Oct 2004 04:32 GMT12
In the last month, I've had one tiny snail multiply into nearly a
forest of them.  Some are floating on the water surface, some are on
the walls, and a gazillion of them are on every surface in the
aquarium.  What do I do about them?  Will they hurt my Cory's and
Amazing Algae Eater02 Oct 2004 03:39 GMT8
My tank is 6 or 8 weeks old now, and the plants started developing what
appeared to be a red algae on many of the leaves.  I picked up an algae

This is the advice a friend has been given by the owner of a LFS.
My usual way is to place 10 drops of clove oil for each litre of
Hard acid water - newbie needs advice01 Oct 2004 11:44 GMT12
I've come back into the fishkeeping hobby I enjoyed as a kid.  All this water
chemistry stuff is new to me -- back then we tracked ph & temperature & that
was about it.
My tanks seem to be doing fairly well (mixtures of fresh water tropicals), but
Fish ID01 Oct 2004 10:19 GMT2
Just seen a fish in my LFS that I don't recognise and my missus really likes
it so need to look at compatibility. The problem is here in france
everything is sold by it's latin name, and I never remember the name.
It's a deep bodied silver fish, inch and a half long with a flat back ...
