Simple but tough question....26 Dec 2004 17:35 GMT7
I need to know how to clean gravel without losing any baby fish (fry)?
If I use my python no spill clean and fill I may lose fry becuase the

the male has some bluey sheen in his fins and is larger.

I have a problem! Before you delete this post, let me just say I did check

Swimming Problems22 Dec 2004 01:15 GMT5
We just did a 20% water change in a 40gal tank.  Within minutes the
swordtail began swimming funny.  It's as if she can't keep her balance.  The
only thing I had on hand was QuickCure.  I put the normal 20 drops per gal.
(tetras in tank).  Any one know what may cause this and how/if ...

I have had these small greenish looking bugs all over the underside of
my light canopy  for years now, well since I brought home water plants. I
have gotten rid of the plants because I did not have time to clean the
filters because of my job sending me all over the country. . . ...
10 gal eclipse21 Dec 2004 06:45 GMT7
Hi all - Went by Goodwill today and they had a 10 gal Eclipse system (tank,
hood and powerhead) for $25.  Since I am still desperately hooked on fish

when I very briefly plugged in the powerhead it ...
What have I gotten into?21 Dec 2004 01:24 GMT7
OK, a rehash of my trials and tribulations as a beginning aquarist.
Almost a beginner anyway, I did have two goldfish for several years as a
child :-).
As I've mentioned in earlier posts, we got 2 bettas and put them in a 10
Maintenance on a planted tank20 Dec 2004 20:12 GMT6
I feel kind of foolish for asking questions like this but, maybe it
will help others. I have been doing considerable research on setting up
a planted aquarium...... a nice planted aquarium.
I have kept a 55g tank for some time now. I've made all the usual
