Weir Wonderings24 Feb 2005 14:45 GMT9
Has anyone had any experience with small fish swimming over, or being
swept over, weirs?  Do they generally tend to stay away from
unexpected fast-moving currents "into the unknown abyss", or do they
instead tend to like to play with "weir roulette"?  I am specifically
Questions on Ich medication, clown loaches24 Feb 2005 09:30 GMT4
Hello everyone.  One of my clown loaches is ill, and it appears to be
Ich, since the other loaches in the tank all have a dot or two.  The
infirmary tank is already setup and the temperature is stabilizing.
A while back, there was a suggestion that Aquarisol + MelaFix helps with
Another disease question24 Feb 2005 03:49 GMT4

FAO Gill Passman23 Feb 2005 20:44 GMT6
Hi Gill - I was interested to see that you live in Reading! A few years ago,
I stumbled across a fantastic LFS (it was part of  garden centre) which I
believe was off of the M4 nr Reading. Any ideas where it could be?

What Would YOU Put in a 6 Gallon Mini-Bow?23 Feb 2005 14:46 GMT23
I have an empty 6-gallon "mini-bow" tank that is just crying out to be
used.  We already have a 50-gal. community tank (dwarf gouramis, corys,
eventually paradise fish and etc.).
We also have a 10-gallon with 2 divided bettas - so I don't want to go
Ammonia problem! HELP PLEASE?23 Feb 2005 04:51 GMT7
We bought a tank a few weeks ago and have since had an ammonia problem. I
never really knew much about it so I didn't know over feeding fish or
feeding once a day was bad for a new tank set up. Anyways, we got the water
tested as the pet store owner directed (We took in a water ...
A Black and White Tank!23 Feb 2005 03:33 GMT10
Without realizing it, I now have a black and white fish tank!  In my
50-gallon bowfront, I now have: 6 cory cats (not sure of the variety,
but they are quite small, with black and white zebra stripes), 2 tiny
angels (blank and white/silver striped) - they will get bigger, and 3
Pregnant Zebra Danio23 Feb 2005 01:03 GMT3
I have a very, very pregnant Zebra Danio, and I was just wondering
something. I have a seperate 13 gallon tank that is currently set up for
pregnant Fancy Guppys and Platys, with Dr. Wellfish's aquarium salt
added.  If I place the pregnant Zebra Danio into that tank, will the
Vacuum Pump?22 Feb 2005 18:22 GMT15
I purchased a battery-operated gravel vacuum/water siphon that does a
decent job of removing water but doesn't really pull up the gravel
enough to suck out the gunk.  (I have a 50-gallon wide horizontal tank
on a stand - I attached about 30 feet of silicon tubing to the pump, so
Softwater Cichlids22 Feb 2005 14:50 GMT2
I need a suggestion on some Cichlids that are easy to care for, may produce
fry, and who thrive in my soft water.  I taking all 76 3 month old platy fry
to the LFS for a credit.  I have 4 community tanks, so I thought perhaps I
would try some Cichlids.  They will start off in a 10 ...
