| Heater accuracy (Won Brothers)? | 11 Mar 2005 09:46 GMT | 17 |
I recently purchased a Won Brothers Pro Heat II aquarium digital aquarium heater for my 75 gallon. The old heater was too small and I plan to go with an auto water changer in the near future, which will only make matters worse.

| How much weight on 10 gal tank frame? | 11 Mar 2005 00:43 GMT | 7 |
I was just handed a 10 gallon tank last night, so of course I have to do something with it. I have a spot in a window where a 2 gallon quarantine has been that has enough light for java moss, rotala, and (next to the tank) African violets. This seems like a perfect spot for

| Coral, CO2 controller, KH, and [CO2] | 11 Mar 2005 00:24 GMT | 4 |
Here's a 'speriment I'd like to try. Since it's so obvious, though, I bet it has occurred to some of you to try. So I'll describe it, and wait for you to tell me the answer, for I am lazy. haha. My hypothesis is that where a hunk o' coral is placed in a tank with

| red tail shark - bully? | 10 Mar 2005 13:19 GMT | 9 |
My red tail shark is chasing my yellow lab and some of my tetras around. Not all the time but some. Doesn't bother the keyholes or gold ram (weird combo I know but they all get along). Time to find it another home or let them sort it out?

| Can current stress a betta? | 10 Mar 2005 02:16 GMT | 13 |
I think everyone knows by now that I have a betta, Squishy, who hangs out in a 2 gallon hex that's been undergoing some changes. It's gotten more light, a Red Sea nanofilter instead of UGF, and many more plants. I noticed that Squishy's doing the piscine equivalent of limping ...

| Egg-bound Colisa lalia? | 09 Mar 2005 19:35 GMT | 4 |
I have had 3 female Colisa lalias with two males for about 1 months now. Three days ago, I observed one pair spawning, which I thought to be a good thing (in terms of fish health) even though I am not interested in raising fry. The male had a huge bubblenest under a silk

| EcoSpheres Inhumane? | 09 Mar 2005 17:25 GMT | 51 |
I was wanting to get some opinions on the EcoSphere, initiated by NASA, in which tiny creatures live confined in a glass ball with a little bit of water, oxygen and a dead plant with which to feed on. (They are definitely eye-catching.)

| shrimp or crawfish | 09 Mar 2005 03:43 GMT | 5 |
I recently decided to add shrimp to my fishtank to clean up the algae on my plants. I bought the first one about 2 months ago. I got 2 more about a month ago. The first one is now about 2 inches long and I really don't think it's a shrimp. I suspect that it's a crawfish but ...
