cory behavior07 Mar 2005 18:49 GMT4
Every once in awhile my two corys sore to the top of the tank and then
dive back down.  Half the time they run into plants or other fish on
the way down. (are they near sighted).  What's with this?
TIA
What do you use for a cave?07 Mar 2005 04:26 GMT15
I am, at best, challenged when it comes to interior design, even with
aquariums.  Lately, I've been culling out the plastics and replacing them
with naturals.
I'd like to also replace a Raphael Striped catfish that I lost a while ago,

Corydora catfish alone?06 Mar 2005 18:02 GMT7
We have a plain ole cory cat, smallish, and was wondering whether these fish
are fine alone, or if I should add another of the same species for company.
It is easy to forget about these fish and concentrate on the others when
they are so peaceful and just act like vacuums.
A Sad day06 Mar 2005 13:31 GMT32
Oh dear!
What has happened?
I've lost 3 Neons, 2 Hockey Sticks, a large female Swordtail and I'm not
sure, but I think there is a Serpae missing as well.
Culling out the deformed06 Mar 2005 12:28 GMT9
My very first batch of guppie babies had one deformed one. The girl i
question didn't seem to be in pain, but it was kinda gross.
I couldn't get rid of her. She did die recently, from a fungus tha
attacked most of my fish. (2 others died as well)
newbie has some basic questions06 Mar 2005 10:16 GMT16
I am looking at getting my first aquarium.
I am inclined to get a 32gal with double canopy because I would like to
have plants in  it.
I don't know much about this hobby but i've been reading but I haven't
Harlequin Rasbora sick05 Mar 2005 18:53 GMT1
Have a harlequin rasboras in a school with three other harlequins and 6
rasbora espeii.  the sick one is about 2 1/2 years old.  Tanks
parameters are fine (as are the other 25 fish (cardinal tetras & zebra
loaches).  Same tank-mates for roughly the past year.
Candy Stripe Goby05 Mar 2005 18:39 GMT7
I recently bought a fish labeled as a "Belem Striped Goby" and after
doing some searching I figured out this was Awaous Strigatus - commonly
called a Candy Stripe Goby. I'm really happy with him - all the color
and personality that I love in a saltwater goby in my freshwater tank.
betta gone bad?05 Mar 2005 18:07 GMT14
A somewhat unusual tank: 10 gallon with one male betta, one female betta and
three neon tetras. The tank used to be divided but the male and female were
spending all of their time hanging out together at the mesh divider, so I
put them together to see what would happen. No ...
sick harlequin rasbora05 Mar 2005 16:48 GMT1
First of all, i apologize if you got more than one of these.  My
newsreader was uncharacteristically screwed up.

Mystery pleco identification05 Mar 2005 15:45 GMT3
So I walked into petco the other day to get some extra
gravel for a second tank(10 gal) I had recently setup.  I
always take a look around at the fish they have although
it's always pretty common fish I remembered that I
