... wasn't it you who had a damselfly nymph in your tank? I found a 1.5
- 2 cm dragonfly nymph in mine yesterday. Very good at hiding, very
fast, and rather scary. It's bigger than the rasboras... So I took it
out and it's in a jar at the moment; I think I'll move it to a large

i saw a wonderful looking gold nugget pleco at the lfs down the street.
and i went home and thought about it and decided i would buy it the next
day. so i did research and it says they are slow growers and need a
little protein. but i look at 4different sites and half said they need

Firstly apologies for posting as a new topic but I'm having problems
following the old one - many thanks for all the updates....
Current situation is that one of the smaller Clowns has now been clear for
two days...the larger Clowns are still unaffected.

Well I interviewed all the suspects and no one is talking.  I tried
everything, hot water, cold water, fresh water, and salt water.  I even
tried no water and still nothing.  They just hung there staring at me.
Moving back and forth.  Never saying a word.  There tough I tell you! ...

Would I be right in thinking that a pair of kribs would not play well
with loaches? (particularly kuhlis)?

My Oscar has always been pretty healthy since I got him.  He is now starting
to develop large white patches where his fins hook on to his body and in the
gill areas.  It doesn't look like fungus, but I'm not sure.  He is in a 100
gallon tank with a large pleco and an adult ...

I'm starting to get some algae buildup on all my rocks.(26g planted
tank)...  About 1/2 cm and spikey looking.  Otos(3) are not doing much
on my rocks.  Glass is ok so far.  Some plants getting hair type algae
also.  What is your opinion for this type of algae?  2 Bristlenose
