Over the past four or so months, my family has been caring for fish.
We have learned a lot over the past months, and are thoroughly hooked
to the hobby.  Our LFS has a huge sale going next weekend.  They are
selling tanks and stands at cost, and then everything else is marked

Last week, I thought all my tank warfare problems were over with the

Bought 3 Dutch Rams for the 15gall I've just set up (seeded and
ammonia/nitrites at 0). Got 1 Male and 2 Females (LFS sells them as
singles or 3's). One of the females bonded instantly with the male. The
other female curled up and died today (bought them Wednesday).

As the subject says I have ich. I have a comunity tank that I have set
up. it was an established tank moved it to my place. and had a nitrite
spike that I noticd after i bought 2 clown loaches and my test kit. I
know bad Idea test kit first. But I am a newbie. Also when I fist ...

I've noticed lately that people recommend to increase the tank temp
when Ich breaks out.  This is because it speeds up the bacteria life
cycle so medications can work faster to kill it (I think).
If one were to not use medicaiton, should you then turn the tank temp

tank. I've had them for about a week. I'm going to transfer

unable, fortunately, to take any fish with me.  We were 39 hours traveling
285 miles (one way) in 100 plus degree temps, so the fish would not have
survived, and when I returned home, my power had not gone ...
