Python and Water Pressure22 Sep 2005 10:21 GMT6
In troubleshooting a plumbing, the plumber found that the house
pressure regulator was not working, and replaced it.
After that the Python did not work well from the kitchen sink, the
reduced presure also reduced the performance.

The best/most practical primer for pumps/canister filters....21 Sep 2005 23:42 GMT9
The best pump/canister filter primer I can come up with that is practical is
by using a hand-squeeze plastic siphon and some 5/8 inch and 1/2 inch
flexible tubing. Use it like this like mine for example: I connect the
outlet tube from the siphon to the inlet hose of my fluval 404 ...

Betta needs Viagra21 Sep 2005 17:00 GMT2
When I first brought my male betta home a few months ago he began
to make a bubble nest. I have no idea why. Maybe I'm cuter than I
think! Since I've recently introduced female betta(s) into the mix,
he shows no sign of wanting to mate with any of them. I have put
Synodontis Catfish fighting?20 Sep 2005 23:07 GMT3
I recently moved my 40 gallon planted tank to a new apartment.  The move
is mostly complete (I left my SAE's with my parents - too wily to
capture from their tank).
I have three synodontis catfish that are between four and six inches.

leopard. They were put into the tank yesterday afternoon.
As of this morning, two of them - one zebra, one leopard - appear

Hau kolas..I have a 29 gallon heavily planted tank that is equally heavily infested with MTS..I've pulled 2500 of these little suckers out of this tank alone since April. Unfortunately, no exaggeration. ;) Loaches have been less than impressive in controlling these, perhaps ...

Hi all...

NetMax...gotta Q for you18 Sep 2005 20:09 GMT12
A while back we talked about Clown Loaches having internal worms often
when they come in from the wild.
After losing the last 2 from this, (they were so tame and the best I've
had so far), I purchased 3 a few weeks ago.
Aquarium Scenery Paper18 Sep 2005 19:52 GMT7
Yet another newbie question from me.
My tank is two months old and going pretty good.  I've decided to try

There were two ladies working the fish department where I bought the
