Advise for cold fresh water fish for a 36 gal tank?30 Nov 2005 23:35 GMT13
Iam waiting for my new 36 gal bow tank with pine stand. My first
thought is to transfer the fish from my old 10 gal tank. But the gold,
comets and fry are too small for the big tank.  So I am  thinking of
getting new fishes (good escuse to get more fish :) ). All the fish I
Fed up with python no spill performance - any one know where I can get an aquarium safe garden hose?30 Nov 2005 16:53 GMT23
I am really fed up with my python no spill clean and fill tool
performance. I only use it to fill and even that is getting much
worse. It wastes water like crazy and gives me poor water pressure
and therefore takes forever to fill tanks with. It's strange as it
Looking for Plant Suggestions30 Nov 2005 10:34 GMT4
I have a 20 gal long, lit and heated,  freshwater aquarium. In it I
have 1 dwarf blue gourami, 6 zebra danios,  7 neon tetras, and two
oto's. I've had a variety of plants but none of them seem to do well.
I've had something that looks like christmas tree branches, foxtail,

not....here are my reasons:-
Case 1. 4 Clown Loaches introduced into a community tank with no disease

Biowheel 330 enough for 55 gal?29 Nov 2005 17:13 GMT15
I recently went to a LFS and was talking with the owner. My filter came
up in conversation and he said that with my 55 gal, planted tank with
12 tiger barbs, my Penguin Biowheel 330 was not a large enough filter.
He said that the water in my tank should be "changed" 10 time per hour ...
Thanksgiving Holiday?29 Nov 2005 10:23 GMT12
I have 6 Harlequin Rasboras in my tank at work. I never feed them over
the weekends and they're doing fine. My question is, should I buy some
sort of feeder tablet for the Thanksgiving holiday? I'm going to be away
for 4 days and I don't want them to starve. On the other hand, ...
LFS wants to unload 3 oscars29 Nov 2005 01:52 GMT1
I currently have 2 oscars both approx, 1 year old. so about 8 inches
each, and 1 pl*co @ 12".  The LFS i just went to has 3 large oscars, he

Betta Baby Blues - help/advice needed29 Nov 2005 00:55 GMT20
I have been trying to cycle my 55 for way too long now; Tony the Betta
has been my starter fish (along with some Otos).  My mom has a 6g tank
with a betta and two cory cats; she thought the betta was lonely so she
bought him to females.  After he killed one, I told her I'd take the
Tiny Adult Fish?28 Nov 2005 23:10 GMT37
All,
So I've seen this thing called an AquaCube (by Tropica) and I like
it.  It's a hair over 2g (US) and I'm wondering if there are any tiny
fishies that would fit in such a setup with a bunch of plants?  I was
red eye tetras28 Nov 2005 19:13 GMT3
A while back, red eye tetras were known as yellow banded moenkhausia.
According to what I've read, the name was changed because many generations
of captive breeding had just about eliminated the yellow band at the base
of the tail.
Tank moving28 Nov 2005 17:47 GMT8
Soon I'll have to move my 400ltr community tank from one side of the lounge
to the other to accomodate a sofa (which is a waste of tank space, heh ).
The tank has 6 angels, 3 dojo loaches, 3 SAE's, 4 clown loaches, 5 platies,
6 corys, 2 ancient danios..
Impressed with Jebo mini-tank28 Nov 2005 10:45 GMT8
I just thought I'd post a brief review of my new Jebo R338.
At home, I have a 200L (48ish gallon, for those older, or yankee folk)
tank with all the goods, and it's simply humming along. Plants, fish,
all healthy... breeding and thriving.
Ornament Paints28 Nov 2005 10:06 GMT4
I have some top fin ornaments I like, but the paint is coming off.  What
kind of paint can I get in bright colors, and is air-brushable, that is
aquarium safe?
Ya28 Nov 2005 01:33 GMT11
well today I noticed my rainbow doesn't have anymore fungus on him.  It
took a while to clear up, no medications due to the community. The only
problem is where the fungus was growing, on his fin is now torn and
missing part. Will this grow back? And on another happy note I'll
