I have a 20 gal long with 6 Zebra Danio's and 7 Neon Tetras. I'm looking for another fish, something colorful or at least interesting, to put in with them. I have tried Dwarf Gouramis but have had very little luck. Both have died, and I noticed that they did have nipped

| Clown Loach with "skinnned" nose | 30 Dec 2005 23:10 GMT | 2 |
I noticed yesterday one of the downstairs clown loaches seems to have skinned his nose. It's not white or anything, just looks like an absence of colour. The four of them were playing with an algae wafer ( looked like rugby ! )

| Algae on a "Corner 5" tank | 30 Dec 2005 01:12 GMT | 6 |
Hi. I have one of those small plastic tanks and wanted to clean off the algae without scratching the polycarbonate, acrylic, or whatever plastic the tank is made out of. I tried wiping with my hand or a paper towel, but the algae is stuck to strongly for that. Anyone ever use a ...

| Who is nipping my betta's fins? | 29 Dec 2005 22:34 GMT | 2 |
About a week ago I put a betta into my 20 gallon comunity tank. Then, I started noticing that then end of his tail is shredded. Now, most of his fins are shorter than normal, and he has a few missing scales on his side.

| Condensation. | 29 Dec 2005 17:32 GMT | 4 |
I got a new Sea Clear acrylic tank a few weeks ago, and I'm finding that there's a lot condensation on the underside of the top. (For those unfamiliar, the tank comes in one piece, the top cannot be removed, and instead has smallish openings for therm, filter, etc. and a couple

I've got a 20 gallon planted tank with 8 red-eye tetras and seven platies. I added five small (1/2") panda cories about 3-4 weeks ago. One showed up dead a few days ago and another this morning. I've checked them over under a magnifying glass and I see no spots, no

| Water Question | 29 Dec 2005 17:25 GMT | 12 |
A buddy came over this evening and we started talking about fish after he saw my tank. He asked me a question that I had never really put any thought, and don't have an answer to either, other than to say that, "It's not done that way." Here is his question: "Instead of going

| Tankmates for Guppies | 29 Dec 2005 17:19 GMT | 7 |
I'm new to the aquaria world, and having now cycled my 50g tank with a pair of Guppies, I'm looking to add some tank mates. An obvious first choice is to build up the Guppy school, but I'd also like to add some extra variety (over time). Can anyone recommend any ideal tank mates ...

| It's the lights!!! | 28 Dec 2005 15:32 GMT | 5 |
I have three 2.5 gallon tanks, each with one female betta. All three are the same except for the lights. One has the original incandescent light that came with the tank. In the others I replaced the incandescent bulb with one of those flourescent screw-in bulbs. I thought the light

I have a cray in a tank with some mollies (and a divider to protect the mollies) I am thinking of increasing the amount of aquarium salt in the water and am wondering if any one knows how this will affect the cray?
