Hi all, I have a poll for you guys/gals. What kinds of
fish/plant/invert's do you have? How manny and what size tanks do you
have? how long have you been keeping fish? Do you have a favorit fish, Why?

Algae growing inside filter tubing. He surmised that you could take this to
the extreme and have enough coiled tubing exposed to light to put a serious

Question for the group, hopefully someone can lend some insight..I obtained a pair of ameca splendens, aka butterfly goodeid,
to resolve some hair algae issues I was having. they got rid of the algae and set about killing/harassing any other smallish
fish in my tank in ...

Many times we talk about our fish and want to "show" not just "tell."
There is an empty binaries newsgroup:   alt.binaries.aquaria
I suggest we adopt this newsgroup so we can tell and show.

Hi all I was wondering what you guys do when you are cleaning the
gravel around your plants? I want to do it without disturbing the
plants too much but either I don't clean around the plants at all or
else I disturb roots and plant becomes un-planted and has to be

I'm still searching, but thus far I have come up with almost zero. Are
there any articles on DIY aquarium ornaments, rock sculptures, object
ect. I have found one that used large dia PVC, but that's not really

I recently moved 18 African Cichlids and two small pleco's from an
established 20 gallon to a used 35 gallon tank I bought.   The tank is
