Sick Betta06 Jan 2006 04:02 GMT6
I need some advice from you all.  I've had a betta for approx. 2 years
now.  A couple of months ago I moved him (along with a couple of tetra)
from a 20 gallon to a 3 gallon tank.  After about 2 weeks he started to
just sit at the top of the tank and not move.  I diagnosed him with ...
Krib breeding help06 Jan 2006 00:08 GMT1
I've had two females and a male in a 180L community tank for months, and all
they did was fight. I introduced caves, did everything but they all hated
each other.
But then over the past two days this big mound of gravel has mysteriously
algae05 Jan 2006 18:54 GMT3
Hi all, I've seem to be getting a outbreak of hair like algae. It is
dark green and looks like a spiders web between my plants and equipment.
I have 2 questions, What would cause a sudden outbreak(only noticed it
about a week ago)? What kind of fish would eat such stuff? Also I ...
HOT Magnum04 Jan 2006 13:50 GMT2
I got the HOT Magnum filter for Christmas. I'm using it in a 30 gallon
long tank. It works great but creates a lot of turbulence. Is there a
way to baffle or slow down the rate of flow?

foam stuff for tank??04 Jan 2006 04:24 GMT3
Hi I was wondering what is the proper or a suitable material for the
foam stuff you put between the tank and the table to stablize the tank
and absorb shock? Is Polystyrene ok? Also now thick does it need to be
for a 2ft tank?
Clown Loaches (Not acting normally?)03 Jan 2006 21:08 GMT33
So I put these Clown Loaches in the tank 2 days ago, 3 of them, to eat the
snails. I was told per my previous posts to use three because they like the
company of other Loaches and that they would eat the snails. Per the
Petsmart instructions I am feeding them dried shrimp. So far ...
SAE behaviour03 Jan 2006 20:38 GMT15
[Sorry for the double post, I originally posted to the wrong group.]
I just added a new batch of SAEs to my office tank. I'll move some off to
the Plant tank in a few weeks and leave a few behind. I can't seem to keep
Otos in the Plant tank, they just seem to disappear. Likely the ...
My plants need help...help!03 Jan 2006 08:34 GMT8
I need peoples' experience here otherwise it may take me millions of
test kits, thousands of possible unnecessary water changes and all
that neat stuff to turn my plants a healthier green.
I have a 26g fully planted gravel bottom tank.  56w high output light
Tank cleaner thingy03 Jan 2006 08:18 GMT7
ok I just got this tank cleaner, it has 2 scrub pads and a sqeege, The
head has 2 positions and one position locks by pushing up this tab wich
puts a pice of plastic as a stopper. The stopper part came off. My
question is what would be a safe glue type substance to use, silicone?
Cory Breeding Tank01 Jan 2006 19:02 GMT3
As some of you know, my Bronze Cory's have been laying eggs, I have had them
lay twice now, and both time lost the eggs to the other tank members and
fungus.
I now have some Meth Blue and also a small tank in which I can place the
Fish in the Horse Trough01 Jan 2006 15:58 GMT2
I don't know if any of you will have an answer for me, but I told a
coworker that I'd ask you.
I live in central Texas where the summers get very hot -- often in the
100s (ºF). A few folks have told me that they keep some sort of fish in
dwarf Gourami01 Jan 2006 10:52 GMT6
My Dwarf Gourami had identical white sores on either side of his
body....just behind the gills & fin. He
was behaving normally, but they got bigger over a few days. Initially I
thought he

I have a two year-old fully cycled 29g freshwater tank. The current
inhabitants are 4 Tiger Barbs, 2 Kribs and 4 cory's. Does anyone have
suggestions as to some new inhabitants (keeping in mind, I do already
have experience in fish keeping)? I was thinking about possibly going
