Hi..
Try to overwinter Myriophyllum aquaticum outdoors. It's
in a container. Did bog it >60cm (23") deep into a pond last
october, frost-free I hope. It has been icy since Novenber.

   Do anyone know the detailed working of aquarium filter the internal
and external filters.

For my next project I would like to set up a heavily planted community
tank (having been very much inspired by Takashi Amano's book 'Nature
Aquarium World').  I was thinking of the Juwel Rekord 96 but I've heard
that there is no way to add extra lighting to the hood in the new Juwel

Inspired by NetMax's recent post (re: DIY styrofoam sculpture [hat-tip
to NetMAx]), I've conceived a plan for a tank and "sculpture" that I
want to fabricate.

I have some green vegetative growth that has appeared on my tanks walls
tonight. It seems to be growing fast as it wasnt there this morning and
there is quite a bit of it. Its light green and is growing in the shape of a
flower bloom. The algae eater isnt touching it. (Is it algae?) ...

Does anyone here have a freshwater crab or had one? I saw one at the
fish shop today and they look pretty exciting, am seriously considering
getting one expect for the fact that I already have a crayfish and I
don't really want them to do battle - I want my crayfish in 1 peice! So
