I've got two 150 watt metal halide lights I'd like to suspend above my aquarium. Ideally, it should be possible to raise & lower them easily. Thing is - the fixtures weigh 5 kilo (about 10 pounds) each. The roof is hard concrete, and I'll use an expander bolt to hold hem,

I have several Blue Tetras in my 55 gal fresh watter tank. I noticed the other day 2 of them are changing red. It the tail fin and the 2 back fins are changing red for some reasion. Is this normal?

What is the best way to clean and test a 2nd hand tank? My father bought a hexagon tank with stand for around $35. The tank is 2" in height and each side of the hexagon is 1". I am not sure if i worked it out correctly but I think it holds 140L or around 36g. Does that sound

hello anyone out with can help me out, ive tried everything to get my tank clear, it just wont do it, i have 37/gal with a fluval 204, ive almost even taken all the decorations out, still no better, i have crushed coral for gravel, if u have any segestions please let me know

I'm planning on going to buy some clown loaches tomorrow. Well, probably clown loaches - this is my eldest's choice; we'll look at the yo-yos and zebra loaches too, and I'll explain the pros and cons, but in the end, it's his birthday money, so it's up to him.

how long should I be soaking drift wood before putting it in my tank? I've got a piece soaking for a week and a half. The water is still brownish. Should i keep going until the water doesn't change colour? Or can I put it in my tank already? Thanks in advance.
