Live by the troll, die by the troll. You can't expect people to

My 8 year old Pacu is listing to one side.  Any ideas on what this is

weeks.

Another Goldfish "sudden death"  :(28 Apr 2006 00:02 GMT6
I fed them this morning and all were fine.  Nothing looked amiss.  I went
back an hour or so later and found an Oranda dead in the plants!  No
sickness, no loss of appetite, no fin rot and a scrape showed no parasites.
It died quickly and with no symptoms.  I had this fish over a ...
Cory Schwartz query27 Apr 2006 23:29 GMT19
Any one got any info on the Cory Schwartz cat?
I hear they've got sharp barbs?
So I'm hesitant about adding a couple to a tank since my local shop
keeper informed me about this aspect of them.
Please Help27 Apr 2006 23:18 GMT17
As a followup to my previous post, thinking it was possibly PH shock, I
put a couple of my mollies in the new tank (since they like alkaline
water and are used to my water and they turned whitish and started to
die within an hour.  Everything in the tank is new.  Any thoughts?  An

This is a virtual aquarium game.  You breed fish, raise them, and sell
them in your store to make money for supplies and equipment.  Your fish
can even get fungus and ich.
cory cat epidemic27 Apr 2006 19:01 GMT6
It seems that every corycat I get eventually succumbs to the same
disease. The only symptom is that the fish loses its balance and cannot
swim or lie on the gravel straight. Eventully the fish dies. All my
water parameters are good, the temperature is 78F  and I keep 2
Tea Bags..27 Apr 2006 17:57 GMT5
I posted this on another fish bank...anyhow-
Somewhere in the last few days, someone went into small detail regarding the
addition of tea leaves (bags) contributing some positive aspects to
freshwater tanks.  Would that person go into greater detail the principles
Is this a fish discussion group...or...?27 Apr 2006 17:27 GMT25
Hey all
I started lurking here in the hope to get some information about fish, the
keeping and care of etc.
What a surprise. Are the malicious and vindictive posts normal, or should I
Cycling woes27 Apr 2006 17:21 GMT27
Hello everybody.  I am setting up a new tank and my cycle doesn't seem to be
going so well.  It's just a 10 gal tank and I put fish (2 small common
goldfish and a slightly bigger fantail) in it two weeks ago today (Tuesday).
The ammonia levels continue to rise, at last check last ...
What Kills Leeches?27 Apr 2006 16:36 GMT6
I killed them in one tank just with hot water, but in another tank I
would like to save the plants.  No fish in there, just leeches,
planaria, and some little things.
Something that would be toxic, but that could be neutralized would be
Taking DISEASED fish nback ....   :*(27 Apr 2006 16:12 GMT83
I called WM and they agreed to take back the lionheads with contagious-ulcer
disease.  I know I'm bringing them to their death but nothing is helping.  I
was through this once before when my koi came down with this about 5 years
ago.  All died and the store replaced every one.  ...
My 3 y/o Discus has hole in the head, please help her!27 Apr 2006 14:36 GMT5
Today I found out my favorite fish "Jackie" ( I would like to  think
she is a girl) has hole in the head.
She has not lost her appetite & is behaving normally except for
sometimes trying to scratch herself on the driftwood.
Where can I get metronidazole in AU?27 Apr 2006 11:19 GMT22
It's now apparent that my big oscar seems to have a hexamita infection
- single long strand of white membranous looking faeces, been there for
24 hours.
I've seen it written about the place that you should use metranidazole
