Filter for fry15 Apr 2006 09:02 GMT5
Hello, about to get my 'bargain' filter up and running and figure that
I will need a sponge over the intake so the little man doesn't get
sucked up there.  What kind of sponges do people use and where do you
get them from?
It is still a created Carp!15 Apr 2006 08:50 GMT3
IF ASKED to name a miracle of creation, would you choose the lowly carp?
Probably not. Most people think of carp as ugly, greenish-brown fish
that live in the mud and dirty up the water for other fish.
Yet there are also carp that are among the most beautiful and highly

Hello, thanks to everybody who gave me idea's for my 10g when it is

Snails - Where did they come from?15 Apr 2006 01:29 GMT7
I don't have any natural plants in my aquarium (55gal), and I never pour
the water from the store into my tank when I get new stock.  Last night,
I saw a snail in the tank (Malaysian).  If I have one, I'm sure there
are others.  My question is, where could it have come from? I'm ...

New 'Neon" Clown Food15 Apr 2006 01:07 GMT9
I added some small neons to my existing school over the weekend, and
sat back to watch my 2 clown loaches (2.5" - 3") start devouring them,
smallest fish first.
What was most amazing was that the 2 loaches appeared to operate in

put female bettas in tank13 Apr 2006 23:51 GMT8
Ok, I just put them in their tank about 1/2 hour ago, right off the bat they
started to fight, kind of paired off, there were a few that managed to stay
clear of the fighting, mostly two white ones fighting, two red ones
fighting, and the one I was worried about most because she ...
new tank is set up13 Apr 2006 18:23 GMT5
took a whole day to move all the fish and filters around between all the
tanks, but I think it was worth it. the picture didn't come out that clear,
but you get the idea.
I wish you could see the smile on the Fronty's faces, going from a 20g to a
The Widening Homosexual World of Koi-Lo13 Apr 2006 12:29 GMT1
That world has so broadened that now when a homosexual comes into any
sizable city he can usually find persons with a life-style similar to
his. For instance, in many large cities there are scores of exclusively
homosexual bars, restaurants and clubs. A homosexual can consult
snail & betta13 Apr 2006 00:10 GMT12
how about i grabbed a couple snails today while at the store, put one in my
bigger betta's tank, he wanted to attack it, i gave him a second to realise
it was not food, but he was dead set on killing it, the little sh*t, so the
snail was in there a matter of five minutes, he ...
Tiger Barbs and Leopard Danios12 Apr 2006 22:59 GMT20
Would a small group of Tiger Barbs (say 6-8) be OK with Leopard Danios.
The reserach I've done suggests that the danios are fast enough to
keep away from the tigers when they need to but I've never kept tigers
before(or any kind of barb for that matter) and I'm not sure how to
angel &   gourami's12 Apr 2006 22:31 GMT5
I got three baby angel's each about the size of a penny, and two little blue
gourami's,
if any one is around should I just float them in the tank, I got them about
an hour ago.
rocks & plant pots in tank12 Apr 2006 22:17 GMT12
Is there any problems with putting a rock in the tank? Like a rock from
outside (stone) I guess it would depend on what kind of rock and I don't
know how to explain, but its just a gray rock/stone, I guess like the kind
you would find in your yard? I just wanted to put it in to ...
