Which is best to use ? Flourite alone. Gravel mixed with laterite. 240 litre aquarium. Plants only at present with CO2 injection.

I think I built something worthy today. Time will tell tho. Basicallys its one of those fluidised sand bed filters except set up upside down and instead of sinking sand it's filled with floating pumice chunks.

I think in the last week all my fish have went crazy my blue gourami who has two black spots normally now lost them, where? I don't know but they are sure not on him, inplace are white faded spots, now I been busy the last couple days but think I would notice my fish losing his

My neighbor has a mated pair of silver angels that are defending an egg-laiden stump. The angels were cleaning off the stump yesterday PM and ths AM its covered. He wanted to know what the time frame would be when the eggs would hatch....many thanks...-ED

For a typical 55 gal tank that most stores carry....given the average thickness of the walls- How much gravel / load could one expect to safely place inside tanks of this construction..and the water level is at maimum (ie: to the top of the frame)?
