Hi All-my arowana (going on 4 years old) seems to be complaining. He  
constantly dissrupts my efforts to clean his tank. Is this supposed to be  
normal behavior for such a fish.
Any help appreciated.

My neighbor told me that angels were monogamus and they mated for  
life..that if one died, the other would not find interest in another  
mate.  Could this be so? Is this common or am I getting my leg pulled here?

I have two SAE's in a 10G quarantine tank.  fortunately, they were
cured and seem healthy now (lost 1 along the way, but the two survived,
and no symptoms for the past 2-3 weeks now).  they had some sort of
bacterial infection (dropsy and bleeding under the scales) that cured

I was sitting down this morning just quietly watching the fish in the
new big tank (130g)....a Panda Cory was sitting on a piece of driftwood
looking like he was delivering a lecture to three, very attentive Clown
Loaches sitting on the substrate facing him - then I saw the Pl*c ...

As someone in another newsgroup said, it's troll season.

We have two people here (at the moment, anyway) who have certain basic  
troll characteristics:

the clown loaches are doing good, they have been almost bouncing off my
pl*co's head, they are driving him nuts, they wont stay out of his space,
and there is enough space to go around.....

I've just finished the water change on the 6 foot tank and added some
rather nice "plants on a mat"....I sat down to watch the fish for a few
minutes before moving on to do the 4 footer tank and suddenly I spotted
a YoYo loach....

I have a conk shell in the tank. It swam out when I fed. Soon as it ate it
went right back into the shell. When I was looking I picked that shell up,
apparently the fish was in it but I didnt see it. I cannot see anything
wrong with the fish but it stays in that shell all the ...

I am very new at this.  I donnot know how to install my aquarium air
pum.
Please help....  What goes where?
