Platy algae control15 May 2006 18:36 GMT19
I took a 40g out of service and transferred the algae-covered sandstone
rocks to a 70g.   In the 40g (under an 18W lamp), the algae grew to the
appearance of a dark green-grey moss resembling a short lawn, which would
sway in the water's current.  The 70g has 160W of light, so ...
Rasing snails?15 May 2006 18:16 GMT7
I know this sounds crazy. I like snails (as pets). I have two small tanks.
The kind that are plastic with snap on lid with lots of slots on them. They
are sold in pet shops either as small aquariums or terariums.
One is about a gallon and the other is about twice that. My guess is ...

Fluval 405 under tank placement15 May 2006 16:25 GMT3
I have a 105 gallon tank - if I put the Fluval 405 filters in the cabinet
under the tank, the canister base will be about 4' 10" below the water
level - the instructions say that the base must never be more than 4' 5"
below the water level - the hoses are long enough - is there ...
Incontinence15 May 2006 05:27 GMT4
f.ck, I hate it when I sh.t in my panties.  I'm pretty well used to pissing
in my panties, and in fact I've come to enjoy the warm wet sensation between
my legs.  Reminds me of when I used to f.ck no less than 4 men (or boys)
every day.  I always had cum running out of my c.nt! ;-)

gourami or angel eating plants14 May 2006 23:38 GMT18
Cant think of the name of the plant, its a common plant, looks like long
tall grass just thicker, any way I have it in my gourami & angel tank, some
one is eating it, I have replaced it twice, the first time I thought I must
have done something wrong and it died, this time I been ...
Zebra Danio Eggs14 May 2006 21:22 GMT11
I'm curious to know where danios prefer to deposit their clutch.  Will they
use a vertical surface similar to cichlids or will they use a surface
parallel to the bottom...Thanks again -ED

Well, I finally set up a 10g in my room with some LDA25 perotocinclus
jumbos in mind (currently in my super planted 10g). I would like them
to breed, but just like the lil guys whether they hump or not. What I
have set up right now is a 10 gallon with an aquaclear HOB filter (I

Now that Carol's NSP socks have been listed, she reverts to using

Inches of fish/gallon rule -- USELESS!14 May 2006 02:38 GMT10
I have frequently run across guidelines for the number of fish that
can thrive in a given size aquarium expressed in inches of fish per
gallon.  I trust the following assumptions are reasonable:
*Oxygen consumed and waste produced are roughly equivalent to body
