TOBS: Is Evolution and Science a  Religion: Carl Sagan says Yes09 May 2006 15:21 GMT58
The popular scientist Carl Sagan, for example, once stated in an
interview: “If you look into science you will find a sense of intricacy,
depth, and exquisite beauty which, I believe, is much more powerful than
the offerings of any bureaucratic religion.” Then he added: “I would ...
I couldn't wait.09 May 2006 13:59 GMT11
So I put my new aquarium together and filled it with water last night.
(I work nights and have Sunday and Monday nights off.) It's looking
pretty bleak with no plants. They should arrive Wednesday, according
to the shipping info on the website where I ordered them (The Pet/
Sea shells?09 May 2006 13:03 GMT4
I've seen some sea shells for sale in the crafts department at
Wal-Mart. Do you think it would be safe to put one or two in my
aquarium? Or do they do something to them that would make them
unsafe? (I'm only thinking of them as decorations.)

Blisters on fish?08 May 2006 03:19 GMT1
My boyfriend and I pulled out a baby fish from last year as it was
swimming around the top of the pond.  Upon looking at it, it has a pine
cone effect (second fish to get dropsy now) and on its sides it has
what looks like round blister type lumps...  Any idea what this is, I
Dead Snails07 May 2006 23:06 GMT11
I've got two snails on the bottom of the tank that lost most of the colour
in their shells. I don't know if they were sucked out of their shells by
someone or if they died from a lack of minerals? Is the loss of colour an
indication of a mineral problem or would they lose their ...
Help with leak?07 May 2006 17:53 GMT2
I have a custom tank built into an old cabinet TV... Not sure how many
gallons it is, but it's a fair size, and it has a leak (I was told) but
where the leak is exactly is unknown... I don't really care to fill it up
with the hopes of maybe finding where the leak could be, as the ...
Black Angels Epidemic07 May 2006 15:40 GMT25
I heard not long ago that the black angels were dying off in the petshops
due to some disease.  Not sure if they were imported or what.  Is this true
and if so, is the issue still current?
