They are tenting my building for termites & I have 11 tanks of fish06 Jun 2006 02:52 GMT13
I was just informed that on June 5th & 6th that the whole apartment
building is going to be tented for termites, and that I will have to
move all of my fish, all 11 aquariums full,...Two 30, one 20, and eight
10 gallon aquariums. And I don't know what the heck I'm going to do.
I have a Question06 Jun 2006 02:22 GMT7
Is this the aquarium library?
Should this group be moderated?05 Jun 2006 11:10 GMT43
for the last couple of weeks I fail to find fish-related discussions
amongst all the troll posts by fools, who feel that religious issues
need to be discussed not only in an inappropriate group, but also in a
totally inappropriate language.
BEST AQUARIUM ROCKS04 Jun 2006 02:43 GMT2
My father and I are starting a business building aquarium caves and
volcanoes.  Pleasse check them out at www.grottosandfins.com.  These
are the best quality I have ever seen and are hand made to order. The
caves are designed for cave dwellers/breeders and the volcanoes add a
Getting Careless in my Days04 Jun 2006 00:34 GMT6
I performed a water change this week.,,gave the gravel a good hand-wave to
stir the muck up..removed the decor..drained close to 30 gallons (that's
about all I felt like picking up=).  As I carry the water to the bathroom
to empty it, I heard a snap..snap..GGGrrrrr..Crunch.. ...
Bettas and English Peas03 Jun 2006 02:21 GMT27
If you ever find your Betta turning down his usual menu, try some english
peas. Then grab a tupperware bowl and a lid and store them in your 'frig
to keep at hand.  You'd be amazed at how alot of tropical fish crave this
simpliest of nourishment....-ED

Diamond tetra01 Jun 2006 19:49 GMT2
I've had a diamond tetra swimming round erratically for about a week, it
looks like it can't stay up right,  and goes all over the place, upside down
etc, yet when I go to try and get him out he belts off at high speed like
nothing is wrong. Also he seems to be feeding ok, well, ...

This was posted to Derek on rec.ponds but I think you all need to know why I
am forced to nym-shift across the aquarium groups as well as rec.ponds.
Since all messages will be on-topic it shouldn't matter what nym I use.
Thanks for your attention.
More on The Grand Accident/Experiment01 Jun 2006 14:34 GMT4
Well, all tankmates have adjusted well.  Today, Oscar is hanging at the
bottom.  He's not eating or wanting to eat as his appetite reflected since
his adoption.  I saw him nibbling at some driftwood early this AM...I
noticed a piece of the wood float to the top.  As I was ...

Tank pics and Pleco question.01 Jun 2006 06:41 GMT9
I posted a while back about my Pleco getting pretty large. I would say he is
somewhere from tip to tail about 7 inches long now, maybe 8. I posted online
for a new home for him but nothing seems sufficient to hold this fish
considering how big he might get. I have a local pet ...
