| trimming sword plants | 20 Jul 2006 17:32 GMT | 2 |
Ok, rookie question time. I've got a 26g tall fully planted tank. The swords are getting tall and thick. Should I trim them straight across and or thin them out at the base. The others I just take a scissors and trim them several inches shorter.

| Betta and Neons not getting along | 19 Jul 2006 16:14 GMT | 3 |

I use activated carbon in a power filter for my aquarium. I probably don't really need it since I do 20% water changes each week anyway, but I like to have the water as free of impurities as possible and it does seem to make it smell cleaner :-) I'm interested in knowing how to ...

| Vivarium/Terrarium | 10 Jul 2006 21:32 GMT | 3 |
I have a spare 29g, and I thought it would be cool to create a vivarium. I would like to have land with the appropriate plants, and a "swimming" area for a couple of small fish. I would like to know where on the web I could find examples and how to set
