I noticed my betta was sick about a week ago, (and probably was sick longer but didn't notice). Since then I have been giving him some Betta BettaFix Remedy , and also furazone green. I also began to put aquarium salt in the tank.

I have a 125 tank that has about 10 cory cats, 2 Bushy Nose plecos and a handful of danios. Any suggestions on what I could put into this tank to get a nice community balance up to speed?

Hi I decided to get a tank the other day.... so I bought a 30 litre hexagonal tank, a heater and Elite Stingray 10 Underwater Filter (for tanks up to 50 litre) - the filter seems really big!

I saw some real halfbeaks finally and quite liked them, but I remember they're a tiny bit quirky to keep (only take fresh food, etc.). Are there any species that look similar but are easier to keep? The gars and pikes seem to be it, but grow far too large.

A friend is setting up a fresh water tank he has been given. It's tall rather than long and fits in a corner unit. He's not sure weather to go for sand or gravel at the bottom of the tank. What are the pro's and cons? Is sand easy clean?

We have a lovely pink female Betta that's been with us for almost a year. We noticed she was starting to swell up in the chest area so I quarantined her and gave her Epsom salts for constipation, what I've been lead to believe is a common reason for swelling.
