Algae eaters with a wide temperature range.23 Mar 2007 07:02 GMT3
Hi, I have aquariums that are unheated. We have a large goldfish and a catfish,
in one (10gal) and telscope eyed goldish and gobies (is that a local name?) in
the other (5gal). We have apple snails in both.
The tanks range in temperature from low 60's (F) in the winter, to around
My fish are turning pink, is that a bad thing?23 Mar 2007 06:54 GMT1
I have a white betta with two rasbora hets as tank mates. They are all
slowly turning reddish pink. I don't know if it's the food or something
bad. The water tests fine. I feed them 3 types of food:

Being a cheap bitch that she is, and lazy toboot, little does  her
mushroom of a husband know that he has been eating dog food since he
married the moron. Dog food burgers, dog food  caserols, dog food
meatballs and sphagehetti, doggie treats in  her son and grandkids

Cheap source for calcium?20 Mar 2007 17:09 GMT3
The guy I got the snails and daphnia from gave me a handful of what he
called calcium carbonate, looks exactly like the stuff sold by pet stores
for removing nitrates (little white rocks). I've looked in stores and I
can only find two labeled sources of calcium... calcium sand ...
Y'all put your sunglasses on please!20 Mar 2007 09:04 GMT3
Carol Gulley is out and about showing her lilly white a.s as usual,
and I hate to see anyone get blinded by the light reflected off that
huge moon she totes around. I bet she has  to have a wide load permit
to walk the streets of Mt. Juliet.

What color  are angel fish eggs?
I have a large spawning of my albino corys inthe tank with  my angels
and neons. Last time they spawned I managed to get around 120 young
out of the deal, but I had to remove all adult fish until I could
Help a fat a.s like me loose weight please19 Mar 2007 02:06 GMT22
I reduced my daily intake of 32 hamburgers, 19 orders of large fries
and 2 gal of Coke down to a mere 12 burgers and 11 fries and one gal
of coke yet I maintain a weight of 450 pounds. I am still nly 4'8

Question on what came out of filter18 Mar 2007 22:05 GMT2
Hi, I'm new to the group today and new to fish in general. While
cleaning my 20gal tank, I was rinsing the filter in a bowl and there
are two teeny tiny little swimmers in there about the size of an 1/8
inch piece of cut thread. Can they be babies? I have two gold minnows,
Hi All....My name is CArol Gulley and I am a freaking MORON from TN17 Mar 2007 17:45 GMT4
I think I know it all and I have never done anything wrong in my life.
I get accused of all kinds of sh.t but my sh.t does not
stink......Wayne Sallee already told me that when he licked my a.s
instead of kissing it just so I did not let my sock puppets play in
Snail food17 Mar 2007 08:07 GMT7
I have some black snails that live in my Daphnia tanks and I've been
feeding them iceburg lettuce which they seem to enjoy. But I'm wondering
what other foods they will eat? I've tried grasses and clovers, they don't
have any interest in those. I drop the occassional algae wafer ...
Water circulation to prevent stagnation?16 Mar 2007 02:35 GMT15
I have a tank with two small dempseys in it, with two filters - a small
external cannister and an internal powerhead filter.
When the water is filled to the top neither filter outputs produce any air
bubbles in the water, and only a small current... enough to push debris
