wondering which bulb is actually best at the front and back. I have been
using the life glo at the back because its the brightest and ...

Made in China?30 Jul 2007 11:28 GMT12
With all the conflab recently about tainted pet food and
toothpaste imported from China, I started to wonder how toxic the
frozen brine shrimp, bloodworms, etc also manufactured and packaged
there might be to our fish.
WTD canister filter - advice please27 Jul 2007 13:53 GMT5
I need a new filter for a 90L tank, the old one is getting very low flow
rates and is noisier - a clean and wool change didn't help but it is 12
years old.
Since I'm a set it and forget it type of guy I have no idea what's out

Another nice F. Betta and some sad news.22 Jul 2007 06:51 GMT3
While at a local Petsmart buying some gravel (I'm switching the tanks
that had a dark blue...sounds nasty, but actually looked nice with the
greens of the plants, and browns from driftwood, etc.) when I started
looking at their female Bettas. I generally don't buy fish from this
Adding Betta Fish with Corys and White Mountain Cloud Minnows.15 Jul 2007 05:51 GMT14
I'm just wondering about the wisdom of something I'm planning on
doing.  Now recently I acquired a Betta from my sister and her
family who had in turn acquired it from a friend of theirs.
Apparently, my sister's family was finding it to be more

female Bettas14 Jul 2007 05:28 GMT19
We noticed what we thought was likely breeder stock also.  We have
picked up some gorgeous new male bettas.  They usually have the normal
reds and blues.  However, we got a black with cream fins and a black
with big wispy clear-grey fins that have an iridescent blue shimmer on

Its pityfull GiIl Passmans  and  TYNKS behavior has brought all this on in the aquaria groups!  Can you all say THANK YOU GILL PASSMAN!09 Jul 2007 20:18 GMT1
All these trolls dropping by, and all the noise level as well as trash
posted in the various groups all do to Gill Passmans failure to live
up to her so called word......and her unfaltering so called INTEGRITY.
The bitch does not have a clue what integrity even means. Must mean
Nice female Bettas09 Jul 2007 17:51 GMT15
For those of you that have local Petsmart stores, they seem to have
gotten in really nice female Bettas this week, and last week.
I've checked 3 different Petsmarts in 3 different towns, and all had
the same stock, so it's worth a drive to the store if anyone is
My algae eater doesn't eat algae09 Jul 2007 13:54 GMT2
I never see my algae eater move.  He lives in a rock and he's very
alive... and he must be eating but I never see him on the side of the
tank or doing anything even close to eating algae.   Honestly I can't
tell if the algae is getting eaten or not, I never see him out of the
sick boesmani rainbow08 Jul 2007 10:20 GMT6
Hi, I have 2 Boesmani Rainbows in my community tank (with guppies,
mollies, platties and a gourami). I have had the Rainbows for about 4
months, and they seemed to have settled in fine, they eat and play and
have fun. I think they are adults (about 2"), not sure what gender,
