I have some rocks, plastic plants, and small flower pot turned sideways in my tank. I use a gravel cleaner to suck up water and clean the gravel. But the fact that it disturbs the gravel and therefore let lighter bit of waste to be sucked up also means that I can't help

I have some stone (not sure what kind, it's pinkish and looks stratified) decorations left over from another fish tank. They were almost completely covered in algae. The only way I could think to get it off (scrubbing didn't work) was to put them in a garden fountain I have (I put ...

It was on the TV show rather than the movie. Steve-O swallowed a goldfish. Then he proceeded to stick his finger down his throat and puke it back into the goldfish bowl. The fish was still alive.

I have this small goldfish in a tank by itself for about 10 days. It acts perfectly normal and happy. It looks normal too except that for the past three days or so, I noticed that the top of the dorsal fin has developed a very thin line of black colour. The tip of one of the

| Slow moving, big fat goldfish | 20 Jul 2003 02:41 GMT | 5 |
I've seen some big (4 - 5 inches of body length, 4 inches height, and 2 - 3 inches width) fantails and other goldfish varieties at LFS. All of them were slower than molasses. Is this the future look of my fantails? Big, fat-looking, slow-pokes? Or are these fish too-fat and ...

| safe to switch goldfish and FW tropicals? | 19 Jul 2003 16:45 GMT | 3 |
I am thinking of switching the fish in two aquariums. Have a goldfish that needs more room and only a few tropicals (zebra danios and pristella tetras) in a larger tank. My question is ... would this be safe to do? Do I need to worry about
