I've finally got some aquatic plants established in my tank that are growing

but they love to rip up tender plants.
I have pea gravel in the tank.  The fish are getting bigger now and I've

The wifes fish , which has had swim bladder problems early on its life with

At the time on its last water change we presumed it was gaining weight as it
has always been a little on the sickly side, compaired to mine ( they were

How many gallons to a tank size...24 Oct 2003 04:58 GMT5
I know it's been posted before, but I didn't need it at the time....
somewhere there is a page that shows how many gallons in a tank of a certain
size? I've been given an old tank and have no idea how much it holds, just
that it's bigger than what I've got.

I've gone into question overload - sorry for this.
I know nothing about corals at all. Can they be kept with
Golfish? If so I'll do some researching, if not, I'll not bother.

LOL.  I couldn't resist the title.
When I purchased my last fantail, I got 2 tiny fry in the bag as well.  I
lost one, and I think the fantail got it.  They were separate for a while
since I put salt and Melafix in the tank with the new fish, but then I put
water changes...22 Oct 2003 01:34 GMT11
I remember a long time ago, when I was a child, we had fish and didn't do just
partial water changes.  It was the whole works.  Net the fish, put them in a
temporary vase, dump the contents of the aquarium in the tub, rinse the rocks
and scrub the sides of the tank.
Orange growth on tank rocks?22 Oct 2003 01:27 GMT2
What could be growing on my tank rocks and ceramic decorations that is
yellow-brown in color, rather like French's yellow mustard when it has
dried?  I thought algae was supposed to be green.
Background: 10 gal tank, 4 varied GF, plastic plants, assorted hard rocks.
