   I'm looking for some plants that I can put in my aquarium that the
goldfish won't eat.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

anyone here keep koi think they are much like goldfish just a lot
bigger. I have them in my pond just wonder how they would do in a
aquarium.

They are dangerous monsters , they are more dangerous than
killer-whales,sharks , piranhas and giant octopusses together !

   I bought a fantail about 2 months ago because of its coloring, nice
orange with a great black stripe on it's back, black tail and touches of
gold/yellow on it's belly.  I noticed 3 days ago that the black is
alomost completely gone form it's back and very faded in it's tail.  ...

I saw what i'm pretty sure was a Comet, but with a Wen on his head
like the cap on an Oranda. Is this possible?

Hi there I purchased a Flexible Air Stone which looks like a length of
garden hose only when you attach it
to an aquarium pump and switch the pump on you get a wall of bubbles coming
from the stone

My one always looks around at the sides of the tank,
does he think there's other goldfish around? Or does he recognise
himself :o?

I've been searching for ages to create a ying yang garden in my tank.
I've removed all the gravel and found a fish shop that sold pebbles.
That and a bridge, and I have a smattering on the floor, a few big
'uns on top, a bridge crossing over the white to the black pebbles.

I got some Juwel background stuff that you silicon onto the back
of the tank - well it seems to be coming loose at the bottom.
Would pushing it back with a rock be ok, or will this entice anaerobic bacteria
to grow?

I seem to recall reading about someone here that was lowering a dish
into the tank, and putting the food in there, so it was easier to tell
when the fish were done, etc.
Could someone fill me in on the details of that?

One of my two "goldfish" has just died.  Actually he/she? was a Shubunkin
and lived in my garden pond with another fish which I was told was a
goldfish but appears fairly colourless.  This second fish I am moving

while most current filtering technologies use electricity ... how did
the Chinese keep healthy goldfish before electricity?   Any ideas?  I am
