I bought a fantail about 2 months ago because of its coloring, nice orange with a great black stripe on it's back, black tail and touches of gold/yellow on it's belly. I noticed 3 days ago that the black is alomost completely gone form it's back and very faded in it's tail. ...

| glofish | 29 Nov 2003 15:59 GMT | 7 |
A topic for much debate. A fish that glows itself. Does this mean the purchase of a light for my tank is redundant? http://www.nytimes.com/2003/11/22/science/22FISH.html?ex=1070082000&en=aa83a1b9b 521306a&ei=5062&partner=GOOGLE http://www.glofish.com/pictures.asp

| Getting that really original tank look | 28 Nov 2003 20:57 GMT | 3 |
I've been searching for ages to create a ying yang garden in my tank. I've removed all the gravel and found a fish shop that sold pebbles. That and a bridge, and I have a smattering on the floor, a few big 'uns on top, a bridge crossing over the white to the black pebbles.

| Background Coming off! | 28 Nov 2003 20:50 GMT | 7 |
I got some Juwel background stuff that you silicon onto the back of the tank - well it seems to be coming loose at the bottom. Would pushing it back with a rock be ok, or will this entice anaerobic bacteria to grow?

| Feeding dishes for fish? | 27 Nov 2003 22:30 GMT | 2 |
I seem to recall reading about someone here that was lowering a dish into the tank, and putting the food in there, so it was easier to tell when the fish were done, etc. Could someone fill me in on the details of that?

| fish losing color | 27 Nov 2003 17:21 GMT | 7 |
I have a panda butterfly that I think is very healthy in the sense that he eats well, and is very active. However I have noticed a significant color change change since I've had him. When I first got him, his black and white was very distinctive. Now he is more black
