I lost a link to a page that discribes common conditions that occur on fish, my 6-10 inch goldfish are turning black starting around the gills and spoting on the sides . Can someone direct me to a link that I can use or explain what might be the cause.

I did not notice before, but now it seems like I have some kind of bugs on top of the leves of my floting plant, the same kind is on the glass of the aquarium. It seems like it is not going down into the water, just on top of the water. They are abouth 1mm yellow/red or smaller, ...

Ok, you can leave fish on their own for a week without feeding what about fry that are between 4 days and a week old? Can they withstand being left for 2,3 or 4 days on their own?
