some time ago, I had asked if anyone knew where I could get live foods for the GFs. well I was only asking that becuase I had read that live foods improved the qualitiy of life for a Gf. I guess I imagined the gf being stimulated by the presence of prey.

| 2 Air stone questions | 24 Jan 2004 23:31 GMT | 6 |
Is there any way to get my ceramic air stones / air discs to lie down flat? When I had gravel in my tank the only way I could do it was to bury them (which I know you're not supposed to do), and now that I don't they're each nearly vertical.

Hello, I have a 55 gallon goldfish tank that has 6 goldfish in it. I have had the same fish for 3 years, with no problems. About 5 months ago, off and on my one Ryukin would be hanging out in the plants, like he was stuck. If I attempted to free him, he would swim off. About 4 weeks ...

I have an outdoor pond - concrete and masonry - - perhaps 4 ft x 10 feet by a couple of feet deep. It has an effective filtration and circulation system. Until last year, my critters lived in it in peace and harmony. Then:

I've had a 30 gal tank for several years. I've had the same fish for most of the time. I clean the tank about once a month to get rid of the excess algae. I've read somewhere that the algae isn't bad, it just isn't very pretty. I really don't have a clue about chemical balance, ...

| HELP! | 21 Jan 2004 15:25 GMT | 3 |
Ok - I've been religious about water changes and changing the filter, but one of my children's goldfish is ailing. It's tank mate seems fine. It sits curled up like a C near the bottom of the tank. It does uncurl itself to swim around but it is truly lethargic. It does eat and poop, ...

| Problems | 21 Jan 2004 00:28 GMT | 9 |
I did my regular tank cleaning yesterday and noticed that Flipper was red all around the mouth as if it had lipstick. I cleaned the tank and did a good 50% water changed. Added just the regular AquaPlus for the chlorine and heavy metals. This morning there is no change, but now

| New fish problem | 20 Jan 2004 21:44 GMT | 10 |
I just got my very first goldfish, they're fantails. As of today they seem to be staying at the top of the bowl breathing in from it. What's wrong with my fish? I tried to feed them but that didn't help. Anybody offer some other suggestions?

| Do my fish have Ich or another disease? (including links to photos) | 20 Jan 2004 21:42 GMT | 11 |
I was watching my fish closely today, and I noticed that they all have these white dots on their fins and tails. One of the fish seems to be more lethargic, and it seems to spend more time resting on the bottom of the aquarium with the plastic plants, whilst the others are spending ...
