Two or three fish?03 Mar 2004 14:19 GMT3
I found out that the smaller goldfish is pushing the larger one around. Will
the situation change if I put one more goldfish in the tank? BTW, the tank
is 29G.
Thanks
Lost Ghost too03 Mar 2004 04:50 GMT1
Sad to say I came down this AM to a floating fish. No clue what happened,
she was fine at 9 PM and the filter was running when I came down. She was
around 6 years old.
I'll take a sample to the fish store to check, but I had gotten the last

It just happened...I walked into Petco to investigate my fish options

misunderstood 30 cent "feeder" guys.  Especially the comets, but I
would be happy a common goldfish too. I will defintely quiz the pet

We have 2 goldfish, had them for 2 months. One looks very healthy with all fins fully extended and swims freely. The other doesn't
seem so well. It's fins seem stuck down. It swims about fine, but with a little more effort required than the other one. They don't
seem to be fighting ...

RIP "Lonesome Joe"  Feb. 21, 2004  1:10am02 Mar 2004 00:46 GMT9
I hope you folks don't mind me sharing this story.
Lonesome Joe died just a few minutes ago.  He was 17.
He came into our lives already an elder statesman among fish.  How he came
to be with us is a story unto itself.  In short, it goes something like
concerned - goldfish in outdoor pond LONGish01 Mar 2004 21:25 GMT13
First of all may I apologise if the answers to my questions are in the FAQs.
I have been surfing online for an hour now trying to get some information
about how to keep my fish healthy and I only just now found your FAQs. At 7
months pregnant I just don't have the brain power to ...
Do I need co2 in my goldie tank?01 Mar 2004 21:12 GMT12
I am debating whether or not to add the homemade co2 (2 liter bottle
yeast mixture) to my 55 and 75 gallon aquariums. I have some amazon
swords in each that really don't do to well. They tend to stay at
around 5 stems or so, and have yellow leaves on the tips often. The
Dying Goldfish..Help!01 Mar 2004 21:08 GMT4
I have 2 fantail goldfish (one gold  & one black and white spotted) I have
had them for about a year.  The spotted one has had problems before floating
upside down and having difficulty getting to the bottom.  During those time

How much, How Often... A Salt Question01 Mar 2004 21:06 GMT24
I was wondering how much salt I should be putting into my tank.  Here are
the specs of what I have set up.  I have a 10g tank with a crappy
undergravel filter, and a small power filter; 2 golfish; 1 inch of gravel;
and a few small fake plants.
Scale loss01 Mar 2004 20:59 GMT8
We got our goldfish from our friends who had a pond in their backyard.
They brought their fish back to the house for winter.  They gave us
one of their "baby" fish.  It was a very happy and healthy fish, but
did not servive the move very well.  Our goldfish lost one scale after
Filters off for several hours01 Mar 2004 18:23 GMT4
I'm having some rooms in my house painted and today when I was at work they
unplugged all of my tank 'stuff' (filters, heater, air stones) for god knows
how many hours. Needless to say when I got home I yelled a very loud expletive
(scaring my dogs) and ran over to plug it all back ...
