I have a red cap, he's perfectly well but he cant stay afloat, I think it
must be something to do with his swim bladder  disabling him from being
bouyant, he can get to the top for food, but sinks quickly and bubbles come
out of his mouth.

I'm going to do a total break down, bleaching, and restart of my tank.  I've
still got some water issues that no water testing kit will show (I think
it's bacteria or parasites), and I just want to play it safe.  My big fish
is in a hospital tank going through a medicine regime, and ...

in my 20 gallon tank, i have four orandas, two 2.5-inchers and two
1.5-inchers. so far, everyone is happy and healthy. will their growth be
stunted because of the tank size OR are they going to grow so big that i'll
need a larger aquarium? i read somewhere that they grow to the size ...

I ahve a small indoor aquarium and an outdoor pond mainly stocked with
goldfish. Am I in the right place to ask questions for both environments?

Last week my goldfish spawned in my pond and produced the normal lot of

I've had my 4" fantail goldfish in a 30L hospital tank.
He/she is now ready to go back home. - I've steam cleaned his/her home tank
100L and put 5L of the water from where he/she lives now to seed the tank.

I have ulcers on my Koi... It was suggested to use potassium permaganate or
iodine on the wounds.. I can't get eithier from the local pharmacy... I got
povidone Iodine... Will this work? Or will it kill them?
