My Fish Cant Stay Up31 May 2004 20:11 GMT3
I have a red cap, he's perfectly well but he cant stay afloat, I think it
must be something to do with his swim bladder  disabling him from being
bouyant, he can get to the top for food, but sinks quickly and bubbles come
out of his mouth.
Total Tank Cleaning Questions31 May 2004 17:52 GMT6
I'm going to do a total break down, bleaching, and restart of my tank.  I've
still got some water issues that no water testing kit will show (I think
it's bacteria or parasites), and I just want to play it safe.  My big fish
is in a hospital tank going through a medicine regime, and ...

other free floating plants out and into a spare tank I have indoors.
Last year the fry hatched after around 3 - 4 days and all went ...

Help, my Koi is covered in "Algae"27 May 2004 18:10 GMT2
Anyone who can help, please contact me asap.  I have a large (12-14") Koi,
about 3 years old, that has what appears to be Algae (the long variety, as
opposed to slimy film type) down both sides of the fish, towards the ventral
(underbelly).  The left eye also appears to be clouded, ...

fancy GF id? (another newbie query)26 May 2004 03:11 GMT15
I posted here a little while back about my (son's) fish in what turned
out to be a sadly overstocked tank. the good news is that all the fish
seem well and happy (I'm assuming here that "ridiculously active" counts
as happy for goldfish <g>), and the water changes seem to be ...
