I have two exuberantly healthy comets. Or at least they look like comets. (I'm no expert.) They were sold to me as feeder fish several years ago and now are about 7" long and seem quite lively.

| Dolomitic Limestone | 25 Jul 2004 16:37 GMT | 8 |
I had my PH crash and my Nitrates shot up. I think my biological filter got killed by the low PH, because I'm fairly good about the cleaning. PH was less than 5.5, KH was 0. Ammonia OK so far. So I bought some Dolomitic Limestone to stablize my PH and Raise KH. I've

I currently have 2 goldfish and 1 fantail in a ten gallon tank. They've been in the tank for about 5 months. Everything's been fine so far until yesterday. Now all three just sit on the bottom of the tank behind an ornament, one gf has his dorsal fin folded and cloudy

| Goldfish PH | 20 Jul 2004 16:29 GMT | 19 |
I went to do my weekly water change and I thought the tank looked pretty clean. So I decided to test the water and save myself some work. Woh, the PH was in the basement (5.5-) and KH was non existent! The water out of the tap is 7.5 PH with a KH of 140. So what caused the drop? ...
