I have 3 small goldfishes (1inch-2inch including tail) in 60l tank with
big filter and air pump. Water parameters - PH about 7, NO3 about 20 and
NO2 minimal.
About seven days ago one of my GF starts to behave in stange way. She

am moving to a new house soon, just 3 miles away. will need to keep two
comets in another, smaller tank for transit and until I can figure out a
permanent home for their tank.  Ease of transport is somewhat of a
requirement this time so I will need the smallest container for them to

Fish about 1 yr old, has become extremely lethargic.
Sits on the bottom. He's in a half gallon bowl. I usually change
50% water once a week, now i'm doing 30% every 2 days.
I use dechlorinated (aged 48hours) temperature matched water.

Can any kind of GF live with any other kind of GF?
What other types of fish or animals can live happily with GF (and vice a versa)?

I;ve just been away for a few days, and when I got back, I noticed that my

My 4yo. fantail goldfish has started to shed his scales on one side.
No change to tank ornaments etc. He/she has had a recurring problem

Hey all.  Im going to take a few scrapings and water samples to a
friend who works in a lab.  I can handle the skin scraping on my GF
but how the heck do I get a gill scraping?  Ewwww I cant even stand
typing it without getting the willies.  Ill be scraping on the poor

I live in the UK and I've just been to the local petstore for some bits and
pieces...they have some very sick little fish in there.   3 oranda upside
down, and sevral little pearlscales with what can only be dropsy.  Theres
lots of dead and dying fish in the tanks and the tanks dont ...

I've just bought a 4ft secondhand tank and would like advice on how to clean
