Fish about 1 yr old, has become extremely lethargic.
Sits on the bottom. He's in a half gallon bowl. I usually change
50% water once a week, now i'm doing 30% every 2 days.

My 4yo. fantail goldfish has started to shed his scales on one side.
No change to tank ornaments etc. He/she has had a recurring problem
(looks like fungus) on the tail - but I've been trying to treat this

friend who works in a lab.  I can handle the skin scraping on my GF
but how the heck do I get a gill scraping?  Ewwww I cant even stand

I live in the UK and I've just been to the local petstore for some bits and
pieces...they have some very sick little fish in there.   3 oranda upside
down, and sevral little pearlscales with what can only be dropsy.  Theres
lots of dead and dying fish in the tanks and the tanks dont ...
