Hi. I've been an owner of goldfishes for a few years now and I have experiences with them. I'm buying new fishes tomorrow because old ones died. Now, I'd like to add some other fishes there and I was thinking of a fish I saw in the petshop. I don't know what's their name, but they ...

I have a 29 gallon tank with one of those "wheel" filter systems. I'm planning to change it to one of those multistage filters with a foam pad and bags of charcoal and ammonia chips etc. Should I just swap systems or should I do something else like put the wheels

Probably just a little anxious.... Two of my comets before I recieved them had a couple of concerns. One had a slight fold in its tail fin. The other had a piece out of it.

| Another Question Regarding Water Changes | 20 Sep 2004 14:22 GMT | 6 |
I'm using the long hose that attaches to the sink to suck out and replace the water. If the water goes directly into the tank from the sink, how can I decholorinate the water? I usually add a dechlorinator afterward, but is that too late?

I've been reading the newsgroup messages all morning and wished I had found them 6 months ago. My son brought a Goldfish home from school, put it a big bowl, we both fell in love with it, felt bad that it didn't have very much space to move around, $1,200 at the pet store that ...

| Plants for aquariums | 17 Sep 2004 08:49 GMT | 1 |
I have several goldfish tanks and try to keep some live plants--mostly anacharis--in them. Trouble is the fish treat the anacharis like candy and gobble up the leaves (if that's what you call them) in no time at all. I'm left with stubby stems!

| New Tank installed and filled. Why is the water murky ! | 15 Sep 2004 15:12 GMT | 7 |
Well the goldfish are pleased with a new 180Litre Juwel vision tank. Washed the gravel...filtered water. Added the water from the old tank ...to give it good bacteria. Used all the right chemicals to protect the fish...added the tonic salts.
