Hello goldfish keepers,
There seems to be the notion around that goldfish mustn't be kept with
tropical fish due to differences in temperature requirements. I am quite
certain it's not really true, as I've lived in sub-tropical Taiwan.

I am new to the newsgroup and have recently purchased a tank.

I'm new to this group so apologies if this has already been covered.
I have an outdoor pond stocked with goldfish.  My original 10 goldfish are
very prolific and I now have more than 100 fish of various sizes and types.
This year alone the outdoor pond has generated over 30 new fish ...

One of my pond goldfish's eyes seem more noticible than the others.
I'm not sure if it's my imagination or not, it also seems more orange
(lighter in color) and wider???  Is this fish sick, preggers, or just
a stage of development?

Its been like this now for weeeks and weeks. I've posted this problem
b4 to the group. After being told that its probably the 1st sign that
there's sumthing wrong with the water quality, i think maybe this fish

I have a Lionhead, Comet and Shubunkin.  I woke up this morning and
this morning and, as far as I can tell, the Lionheads right eye is
missing! He doesnt seem happy or energetic at all.  I immeidetly
seperated him from the Comet and Shubunkin.

        We have a little problem with Costia and its spreading. We have tried
Interpet's anti slime and velvet but it hasn't worked. We haven't tried
Waterlife's Protazin yet( will try to get some tomorrow). Any other

I have a tropical fish an lately it has been piling rocks and moving them
all over the place can any one tell me why this fish is doing this
I can't remember what kind of fish this is but it has strips and they come
in different color , and are very aggressive and can't live with ...
