Hello goldfish keepers, There seems to be the notion around that goldfish mustn't be kept with tropical fish due to differences in temperature requirements. I am quite certain it's not really true, as I've lived in sub-tropical Taiwan.

One of my pond goldfish's eyes seem more noticible than the others. I'm not sure if it's my imagination or not, it also seems more orange (lighter in color) and wider??? Is this fish sick, preggers, or just a stage of development?

Among marine (even fresh water )fishes which one are most sensitive to low dissolved oxygen? when oxygen level goes down in tank which species will first show change in behaviour ( swiming on the surface, etc).

Its been like this now for weeeks and weeks. I've posted this problem b4 to the group. After being told that its probably the 1st sign that there's sumthing wrong with the water quality, i think maybe this fish has a unique behavior. my oranda has been doing this 4 a while now.

I have a Lionhead, Comet and Shubunkin. I woke up this morning and this morning and, as far as I can tell, the Lionheads right eye is missing! He doesnt seem happy or energetic at all. I immeidetly seperated him from the Comet and Shubunkin.
