antibiotic feed22 Nov 2004 13:16 GMT2
We can't get antibiotic feed in the UK (or if we can, I can't find out
where!). It sounds really useful to have in, so I thought I'd get some when
I come over to the US early next year. I'll be in NY then LA - any
recommendations where I can get in those places?

Fiddler Crabs18 Nov 2004 18:16 GMT9
My husband received a pair of fiddler crabs as a gift and there is not
to much information about them.  I have read some need salt, some say
fresh water aquarium salt. some say natural sea salt and others say no
salt at all. Some say water only, others say half and half water.

I've been using an Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Basic Rena 100 watt heater

tired of the lousy inaccurate temperature settings on the knob and no
longer want to set temperatures by trial and error. One of them can't ...
finrot of too much salt17 Nov 2004 14:56 GMT1
about a week ago, I notice a spit fin on one of the golds.
the my girlfriend pointed out that three more had similar splits. I did some
research and came to the conclusion
that it was either fin rot or too much salt.

3 Red Eyed Tetras for the last 4 months.
Everything was going well, apart from the occurrence of algae on the tank
wall and floor.

I have had tropical fish for a while now, but thought I would give gold fish

it, it was only colored orange and white (common ...

QuickCure Affect Biofilter?13 Nov 2004 14:58 GMT1
What's the verdict on malachite green/formalin remedies like Quickcure
and Rid-Ich+? Do they kill the biofilter or not? I'm in a situation
where I need to use it, but I don't want to kill my biofilter in the
process.   -thanks
