I brought a couple of my goldfish from the pond inside. The power filter has been working fine, until this am. The magnet has seperated from the rest of the impeller, so there is two pieces running on the shaft, not one. Can I use super glue to fix that? I ordered a new one,

Two of my goldies have a split dorsal fin.... The male is chasing the female...could it have happened while that was going on? Or is is something serious. They seem fine and are swimming around happily.

Has anyone used the polished river/creek stones from Wal-Mart with their GF? I currently have a thin (1/2") layer of gravel in the tank. But the boys still have some minor Nitrate issues, so it's time for a new landscape. I was going to go with a layer of the glass blobs/nuggets, ...

i have a 75 gallontank with 4 big goldfish. there about 8 inches long. can they eat gravel. they always put in their mouths and spit them out. i just lost a 8 inch goldfish, and dont know why he died. he was 4 yrs old. i was feeding him regular flake food, is that the proper diet,or

My 180 litre tank is about six feet from a window...but shaded...indirect sunlight. I have also put a shade on the window for the strongest light in the day. I have had the buildup on the glass but not too serious.

I spent ages researching the symptoms and with the 'lump' not bein cottonwool-like, but more like a cyst, Nodular disease was the only on that kept fitting the bill. Below is the info I found....

I have tried all of New Zealand for Medicated or antibiotic fish food. Nothing ! Can I make my own....what can I use to make it. I was thinking of soaking the pellets in something.

I have 29 gallon tank , recently my three gold fish have died. ( cause i accidentally pour too much anti-bacteria medicine for dropsy ) Only left 3 gold fish without any dropsy , all theirs fin are rotted .

I've replaced some Corals and Volcanic stones to my Biofilter and the water in the tank turn out to be chalky for the last 3 days.However my 5 Runchus look fine.Can anyone advise me if it's normal ,and how long it take before the water go back to normal?
