indoor pond update24 Dec 2004 04:03 GMT9
So I had my big fat koi in a tank with insufficient filtration. After
learning how to -correctly- read my ammonia tests, I found that tank had
severely high levels. I got clued into the problem when sores started
appearing on his belly.
Help needed about Goldfish alley?22 Dec 2004 19:11 GMT7
I seem to remember that someone had some pictures of wall to wall
goldfish on their website.  The place was somewhere in Asia and was
called "goldfish alley".  Anyone got any idea where this place is?
Table instead of aquarium stand?22 Dec 2004 16:43 GMT3
I have a tank that is 36 inches long by 12 wide(I *think* it's about 25 gal).
The only table I have right now is 32 inches across.  Would there be a problem
with having the tank overlap the edges of the table?  I'm wondering about the
stress on the tank itself...

Aggressive fish13 Dec 2004 19:09 GMT3
I have three fantails in a 90 litre tank, I know that's a bit on the small
side, but I check the water regularly and the fish have been mostly OK -
except that one of the fantails has become quite aggressive towards the
other too.  She (I am fairly sure it's a she) is quite a bit ...

they'll get damp n go off.
Swim Bladder but on the Bottom?12 Dec 2004 18:50 GMT1
First I'd like to say thank you for all of the helpful information that you
provide.  I've learned a lot over the last 6 months from the newsgroups and
went from losing a goldfish a month to not losing any at all (I think it's
been at least 5 months).  Of course I had to change ...
Fish hanging out at top of tank12 Dec 2004 18:45 GMT8
Got an odd one here.  I have a large fantail that hangs out at the top of my
40 gallon tank.  He looks for all the world like he's floating from a food
problem.  BUT, and I say again, BUT... if I put him in my 12 gallon hospital
tank, he's just fine.  Never floats or anything.  I ...
