I heard that celestials shouldn't be put in an aquarium with other fish because they can't see the food ....umm...i thought fish smelled their food....and besides...i have a blind blackmoor that does better at eating than the fish that aren't blind!

Do you all take your decorations (hiding spots, etc.) out when you do a water change and vacuuming? Do you put them back in? How do you ensure that the aquarium isn't dirtied by the water on the decoration when you put it back in?

What brand and type of food do you recommend for goldfish. I brought three of them in from my pond for the winter. Currently I am using slow sinking pellets by Wardleys. Is there something better, or is that good enough? Thanks
