I have 2 shubunkins, 2 common goldfish, and 1 black moor.   I have had them
for several months now and all are growing rapidly except for the black
moor.  He has grown quite a lot since I got him, but not at the rate that

How often are you supposed to clean out the filter cartridge box? My
filters need to be changed about every 3-4 weeks, but every time i clean
out the box my water gets cloudy. Otherwise my 2 comets are fine. 2-10"

I posted last week about the aquarium assembly question.  I fully set
it up Friday w/ gravel and ornament, waited 48 hrs, treated with mucus
and conditioner, put two fish in it, put starter solution in it, and
fed lightly.

I have a black goldfish with a bloated belly. He hangs out on the surface
mosty. I think his stomach is making it difficult for him to swim normally.
Would anyone know what this ailment is and how I can cure him. I really don't

Hello, again.
Trying to treat my fish's swimbladder problem in  a 129 gallon tank
filled to 125 gallons and trying to raise the temp to 85.
Then, also using epsom salts - 1 tsp to each gallon water.

When i wascleaning my aquaclear 500 sponges, i notices something growing in
them...like bean sprouts or somethnig....
I feed the fish hagen sinking pelets, cooked peas and flake....
