I have a 10 gallon tank with a dying plant, one goldfish and two o those dark algae eater fish. I noticed my goldfish's tail fin had a few "frayed" like pieces and scale or two missing on one of his sides.

I have a 4" Calico that went lethargic on me a few days ago. He kind of pokes around but sinks to the bottom and sits on the gravel most of the time. The only symptom i noticed was a red spot on the tip of his tail, and a bit of redness at the base
