| Mmmmm...., you salted my Algae | 15 Mar 2005 10:01 GMT | 1 |
I thought I'd add some salt to the tank to prevent whatever is bothering Panfry from affecting the other fish. I've read a lot of pros and cons about salt, so I was a little hesitant. The recommended dose seems to be about one tablespoon for every five gallons, which in my case ...

| Columnaris diagnosis (Panfry goes to the Hospital) | 14 Mar 2005 04:27 GMT | 2 |
I need help diagnosing a sick GF. It started with a white bump on his snout a few months back, which I treated with Pimafix/Melafix. This seemed to knock it back, but did not cure it. I noticed that keeping the water pristine, seemed to do more for him than the

| what size air pump for large air stone stick? | 11 Mar 2005 06:06 GMT | 5 |
I bought an 8inch air stone stick for the back of the tank, but my old very small pump, only gives enough air to make a few bubbles right at the start of the stick. Obviously its underpowered.\ What size air pump do you all recommend to get a stick of this size

| puregold site | 08 Mar 2005 15:31 GMT | 6 |
This morning I went to check something on the old PureGold site http://puregold.aquaria.net/ and I find advertising. A quick call to him confirms he has sold space on the site without my knowledge or consent. I have no idea how long this has been going on. I am absolutely ...

Before I came here, I'd never heard of the practice of feeding cooked shelled peas to fish. ;-) What is the purpose of this please? What does it do for them?

| Bad Oranda Luck | 01 Mar 2005 07:52 GMT | 11 |
I just recently lost one of my orandas. I had him for about 8 months. He was quite normal until about 3-4 days before he died. Symptoms were that he just sat on the bottom, then would kind of lean to the side. He would be like this in the morning, but would then begon to
