| How to measure the length of a fish? | 27 Sep 2005 16:35 GMT | 3 |
Just how do people measure the length of a fish? From the mouth to the tip of the tail? The tail of a goldfish can vary from a fifth to a half of its body and weigh only a fraction of its body weight. Is there a more reliable way to measure fish?

From what little I've seen about it so far, it looks to me like some people actually believe dogs are not aware of themselves simply because they don't appear to recognise their reflection in a mirror. To me that only

I have baby fish in the pond. From six adults (no idea what mix of sexes I have, but clearly I do have a mix) I reckon I've seen about five or so tiddlers, about 1.5-2cm long at the moment. Any ideas how many there might actually be? And from this sort
