| Tank water cleanliness | 22 Mar 2006 23:52 GMT | 13 |
I've recently purchansed a tinly little 11 litre (about 2.5 Gallon I think) tank for 2 goldfish. It came with a little filter which obviously isn't doing a great job as the water gets cloudy after about 3 days, after a week it's quite murky - still see through, but not pleasant ...

Can anyone offer a word of advice please? One of my Chebunkin has died and another is showing sins of distress although I cannot see any obvious signs of damage. The only clue I can offer is that the dead fish looked and felt as if all the scales had been removed. The skin was ...

Has anyone ever introduced a Chinese Algae Eater (Gyrinocheilus aymonieri) into a pond? with koi and goldfish? According to a few websites, they are herbivores, but apparently develop a taste for small fish as they grow larger and are fairly territorial.
