Silcone repair29 Apr 2006 19:18 GMT1
We have an old double concrete laundry sink that we have kept fantails in.
They have spawned last spring & have given nearly all the young to friends.
We've kept a few of the young separate from the parents, but their side of
the 'pond' is obviously leaking water, so we need to find ...
More Advice Requested about my Blackmoors26 Apr 2006 14:18 GMT12
I'm sure you remember me from the Blackmoor resting by the heater thread...
The remaining Blackmoor and the new Blackmoor had been doing fine. Now,
about a week or week and a half ago, I noticed that the new one was
sometimes resting on the bottom of the tank. After a few days of ...
Lilies for postage25 Apr 2006 15:39 GMT7
Ok Folks,
I have about 30 or 40 cuttings of various lilies.  Most are probably
light yellow.  They had been growing for about two years now without
dividing, because of my recovery from surgery, so this year they have
Follow-Up to my Blackmoor tale :-(25 Apr 2006 02:51 GMT3
As promised, here is the follow-up: Before I could even order the
recommended gel-based food, one of my two black moors died. My husband went
to the pet shop and bought sinking food, thinking we could try that before
ordering the gel based food off the internet (because the price ...
Goldfish Disease21 Apr 2006 17:48 GMT3
I have been battling some sort of bacterial infection in a goldfish
tank.  Every time I add a new Goldfish, it seems fine for 2-3 days,
then becomes lethargic, resting on the bottom and moving only
occasionally.  By day 4, a white mass develops (usually on one side

We have 2 bream in our pond. One of the bream has bloated up like a balloon
and his scales are all sticking out like a pine cone. He/she also points his
head down at a 45degree angle and stays in the same place for ages. His/her
tail looks a bit raggy too.

Raising Baby Goldfish Question13 Apr 2006 21:36 GMT2
I have a new batch, they are doing well, some are growing much faster
than others.
I recently read that with Koi the fast growing ones are less desirable
and are one of the first to be culled.
Emergency! Fin rot help, please!11 Apr 2006 21:10 GMT6
Hi, all.
One of my fish seems to have fin rot. I first spotted in a few days ago
and have changed the water twice, but today I got in from work and the
problem is MUCH worse. At the current rate, I don't think he's got too
Follow-up to latest problem09 Apr 2006 17:53 GMT8
Hi! I had the problem with the black moors sitting at the bottom of the tank
and floating at the top. Ingrid, I took your advice about not feeding the
fish for a few days, and it worked great! No more floating, no more sitting
on the bottom of the tank. The fish were swimming ...

I'm wondering if I can add "Lo salt" to my fish tank,  I'm not sure if its
available in the USA but we get it here in the UK.
It has no additives, and is reduced sodium, but high in natural potassium
chloride (It says 66% on the website www.losalt.com) The website isnt very
