I have a really vbig tropical tank and a tiny coldwater one so i
seemed to make sense to add the two goldfish to the tropical set up
Would this cause any serious problems

All the books I have describe Danios as tropical fish, but all the pet shops
here sell them as cold water fish.  What's going on?

Ok guys i have another prob and I dont know wot to do......I
1 of my goldfish keeps hitting its head off the side of the tank, i have
checked the water and everything seems to be fine? Im at my wits end as it
sounds sore and i dont want it damaging itself? Can any1 tell me why its

Ok I went out on the weekend to replace my 10(uk) Gallon tank housing
my two black moors, and I went a bit overboard. I've bought a
60(uk) gallon tank (A Juwel Rio 240). I have a few questions though

Many pet stores unfortunately just see the money involved and couldn't
care less about the animals they sell. That's why they cram bettas into
those tiny cups. More bettas in more tiny cups means more money for
them.

by the looks of things this group is inundated with first-timers like me who
jump in looking for the answer to a question then jump out, so apologies to

A bit surprised there weren't many posts about this,
After many years I'm thinking about keeping an aquarium (again). It
must be a real small one (6 gal) and if I can help it I'm going to be a
good (cheap) citizen and save energy by not heating it. There's also

Can I feed these fish the same kind of food?  Right now I have the
basic goldfish flake food, can the tetra eat this as well?  Or should I
get a different brand of food for my new pals?
