I have a 55 gallon / 220 L freshwater tank with 12 goldfish in it (mixture of blackmores, shubunkins and comets). Recently they started dying at the rate of 1 per week, so we end up replacing 4 a month. The oldest are 2 years old.

Yet another question. A lot of pet shops in our area sell feeder fish, they say they are rosy barbs. But when I look up rosy barbs, that's definitely not what they are. These fish look a bit like tiger barbs, but without the reddish colouring.

I have had my goldfish about 2 years now and i keep them in a 6 gallon tank. I have just recently changed the gravel in the tank and the water still hasnt cleared up, its still murky even thought i have a filter in tank and also have an air stone in tank. I only did a 50/50 water ...
