| Visible blood vessels in tail | 30 Oct 2007 16:04 GMT | 8 |
When I got home from my recent business trip (1 week in Japan) and had the energy to look at the fish in detail I noticed that Hoshi has a couple of visible blood vessels in his caudal fin. Hoshi is a sarasa comet, about 5" long, all white except for an orange spot

| lettuce ? | 09 Oct 2007 00:15 GMT | 4 |
I read ( a while ago ) on a goldfish keeper's website, that finely chopped lettuce is a good alternative to the regular *flake* type food. I tried it tonight & every tiny piece of lettuce was consumed within

| My Goldfish Died! | 09 Oct 2007 00:11 GMT | 4 |
But why? The fish was a fairly standard goldfish with a nice comet type tail. It was about two years old and shared an 18x12x12 tank with 5 Whitecloud. I've been feeding with Tetrafin. The goldfish "jerome" has never exhibited any disease symptoms, no
